[Review] Masterplan - Metalmorphosis

    Actually I found Masterplan music with their 2007 album "MK II". While it may not have been a masterpiece, it certainly had its undeniable charm. Since then, the band has only released two original studio albums. I’m deliberately excluding the live release and the re-recordings album of Helloween - tracks—because even though those were penned by Masterplan co-founder Roland Grapow, they were still essentially covers rather than fresh material. So now, with new music finally arriving after a 13-year wait, I feel a slight sense of disappointment. However, I also must admit that "Metalmorphosis" is by no means a write-off.

Forthcoming albums - August 2026

The number of metal albums released in July 2026 should be described as small. Moonspell, DevilDriver and Motionless In White, just three. Of course there was more albums but only those three I found worth of mention. However anyone must agree that August 2026 brings much more new metal releases, e.g. Xandria, Flotsam And Jetsam or Mastodon.
