In January we received symphonic metal albums from Beyond The Black and Edenbridge. On February 20, 2026, this year's power metal gap was filled with release of the German Aeon Gods' second studio album "Reborn To Light". It was released just 18 months after their debut album and the first single from new album was "" being new entry on week 9 of new versioned Stef Metal Chart. "I’ve said it many times before, but every once in a while I’ll suddenly come across great new music from a band I previously never even knew existed, and it never stops being exciting every time it happens! The latest case is German power metal band Aeon Gods. Before I received a promo for their upcoming sophomore record, Reborn to Light, I didn’t know a single thing about the band. It took less than a minute into the explosive opening track “Birth of Light” for me to realize I had discovered a winner, and digging deeper into the album only proved to be even more rewarding.
