Savage Blood: Wheel Of Time - review

Savage Blood - Wheel Of Time

Savage Blood is the german heavy/power metal band that was formed only 7 years ago in Lower Saxony but already they released EP and one full studio album. After three years since their debut album "Downfall" they released their second LP on November 16th 2023. It is titled "Wheel Of Time" and promoted by single "" (95th last week at our Stef Metal Chart - Hard'n'heavy Music (87)). Current band members are Peter Diersmann, Jörg Steinhake, Timios Zouridakis, Marc Könnecke and Michael Wächter, and they are those who recorded that interesting album.

Recorded music here is quite equal one to each other. It is hard to pick the best and the weakest song without any doubt. Every try of listing them will be only very subjective statement. However if I have to make a choise then I would pick three songs. Number one is mentioned above "Warriors Of The Fortress". Starting calmly slowly speeds up, presenting some tempo changes and more melodic singings then in first track "Battle Cry" - fast and technical played in same tempo throughout whole song. Third in the tracklist is a little slower but also a little heavier "Oblivion", and next are two other songs from mentioned best three. Those are "Believer" and "Raven Crown", both quite fast. First one has some tempo changes and two guitar solos, and second one is mostly fast except chorus. And at the end there is title track - starting slowly and being faster in chorus, having some more technical and some shredded parts.
